Another Little Angel

So So So honored when a long time friend asked me to photograph her new baby girl. This was daughter number three and Daddy better watch out! All three girls as precious as can.
Newborns sessions are always different. Always. You never know what you're gonna get... I totally stole a Forrest Gump Quote right now... Yes I did. Ok. So, as I was saying, you never know if that little bundle of Joy is going to sleep, deep sleep, sleep and wake up sleep, not sleep, stare, move, lay still, lay still sleep and then wake up, scream, eat, poo, pee, sleep poo, sleep pee, OK. I think you get it. Newborn sessions take lots and lots of patients and when working with Life's little Miracles... How can you not be...

Baby Shower | Event Photographer

Not only did I get to document this families 3rd pregnancy Maternity Session, but I was also asked to photograph their baby shower as well. Everything was set up so beautifully by friends and family. Casino tables were also included along with a candy bar, catered food with an open bar. Yes this definitely takes the cake for a baby shower like No Other!

I think I'm going to let these photos do most of the talking...all I can say is "I get to photograph the cutest babies EVER!" Little Layla did an awesome job from start to finish. These came out beautiful and simple and I'm so happy I got to capture some of her first photos...

Just Another Day...

So we are back in the swing of things.... Well .. Kinda. Time to get the kids back to school, time to get organized, time to wake up early and get to work... Boy was I WRONG. Not at All. Little Charlie wasn't going to let Tante (that's me) get anything done. Nope. He's just not gonna make that happen. So, I'll just sit right in front of his face ALL DAY. That's what we do. Love HIM soooo much!

Bay-BEE Shower...

We all stood waiting anxiously for Mom to BEE (get the theme) to walk threw those doors. This was the day she'd find out what she was having. Boy or Girl? I had never gone to a shower that has done something so fun. The theme was of course BEE's, and everyone got to hold a bee that announced "It's A GIRL!" She walked in with Daddy to BEE (ok, I'll stop) hands covering her eyes. Count of three.. ONE.. TWO.. THREE... "It's A GIRL!!!!" Seeing her expression, emotion, happiness, joy, excitement, nervousness... you name it... we all saw it and felt it. It was quite touching. Another great event to be a part of.

OK, So I've noticed my titles getting a little more and more Lame. But I seriously thought it was cute. It sounds great right now, but maybe in a few days I might look back and think ... "ummmm, Hello...what are you thinking?" Maybe I need to read more .. I'm going to just throw this out there, but I only read TWILIGHT over and over again. Yes it's true. Twilight, and the occasional People Magazine...(and a TON of Photography BOOKS-even the way too boring ones)
So back to my post...
This family, I had never met before. They had seen my work through a friend of ours and then contacted me. I swear, my clients are the BOMB! This is really how my business took off so Fast and I Thank them Everyday. This was their first little girl and she seriously couldn't be any CUTER... We just did an "At Home Shoot" and the photos are Adorable. She is quite the Little Model.

Baby # 3

I am so happy for this little family. I was happy to work with them again with their third baby. I am truely blessed to have such great families that support me and trust in me.
Newborn photos can always be a little time consuming, as they should be. When you're working with such little clients, what's the rush? Little Mia was such a beautiful little model. Being able to capture these precious moements when time moves so fast is priceless.
I am very Thankful...

Memories...

Being able to capture memories for friends and family has been such an honor. I'm so happy I was able to re-connect with my old friend. Yes OLD friend. I have photos of her and I dancing together, and now we have girls of our own that get to do the same. Now... I only have one, but my friend here was blessed with 2 beautiful Girls, and one of which is Celebrating her 1st Birthday. So much fun, and so happy I got to capture these memories for her.
