SuperHERO Sunday

So I don't think Charlie really cared about the Superbowl... He just wanted to eat his donut and have a conversation. This little hero will always have my heart <3

So I didn't write a  New Years post, but I had a wonderful New Years with friends, family and JUST DANCE.

Since we're already in February, I wanted to remind everyone to LOVE.  I don't go all out on Valentines Day, but I do take a moment to reflect on what Love means to me.  If you stop and have a look around you, you can see it and feel it.

Boudoir = Valentines Gift

I have shot a few of these sessions and absolutely LOVE them! I know you may think it's somewhat uncomfortable... but I'm a Super Simple person. I would never ever make someone uncomfortable. In fact, we have a lot of fun on these types of sessions... I know there are so many types of Boudoir sessions. I try to keep my "tasteful". (thank you Miguel for that word). Someone described this image I posted as "Tasteful and Beautiful". I agree...

We are the Champions

Such and exciting moment for these little guys. They started out Game #1 with a major LOSS. Yes, they got trampled. They fought for Game #2 and didn't stop Fighting. These guys really proved that hard work pays off. Last year, I believe they lost every game... This year... CHAMPIONS!!! OH!! and did I mention it was POURING RAIN??!!!?? Yes, game rain or shine. So I know they were excited to play in the rain... but were the parents excited to sit in the rain? Heck YA!!! We as parents couldn't have been more proud... As my "man in my next life "Mr. Dwayne"the Rock"Johnson would say "TEAM BRING IT"!!!

Baby Emma | Newborn Photographer

This little lady was such a Joy to work with. Mommy had her ready and fed and she was ready to work. She was less than 2 weeks old which makes it a little easier for me to work with. Absolute Joy!

To the Mountains We All Go...

So with all the Grandkids in our family... Grandma finds that it's getting more and more difficult to purchase gifts for each grandchild. So this year, she decided to rent a Cabin and take our families to the mountains. Our kids wanted to go to the snow SooOOooO bad! The moment they stepped outside... the were COLD! WEAK-Sauce! We enjoyed our family time together and the kids had a full day of sledding. My daughter complained that entire day how cold she was and how she wanted to sit in the car. Turns out she had a fever and double ear infection.... Urgh! Nothing like coming down the mountain and heading towards urgent care. Other than that... we had a great trip and built lots of Memories... This would be my son who did NOT want to take a photo! C

Here I AM!!!!

So here I am!  The holiday rush really messed me up...  I don't know about you guys, but every year things get more and more crazy.  Now I know it's a busy time of year for photographers... but push that aside a sec and just talk about Life in general.  My 3 children are getting older and taking on more.  I felt that this Holiday Season went by so fast, that I barely had time to sit and enjoy it.  Bummer!!!  I'm sure a lot of you feel the same way.  We had school plays, dinner dates, holiday parties, dance shows, football games, holiday shopping, holiday preparation, decorating...  I swear if I didn't have kids, i'd be sitting on my sofa with a nice cup of coffee looking at my ONE stocking hanging up.  That's me.  Simple.  Oh and let's not forget "LOVE ACTUALLY" in my DVD player would be on repeat...  but...  ALL in ALL...  I survived, I decorated, I made it to all the events... and I enjoyed every second of it on my kiddos faces especially Christmas morning.  I remembered why I put my all into all that I do as a mother.... and most importantly, teaching my kids the "true" meaning of why we celebrate Christmas.

So here's to moving on...  and trying my best at BLOGGING.....  again......

Silva Family | Family Session

I know as parents it takes a lot to get out there and set up a session. Hopefully after chasing the kiddos around, trying to keep them clean and taking them on a Muddy photo shoot... It's all worth it.. Right?

Mindoro Family | Family Photographer

Loved working with this Family. I mean it when I say that I am the luckiest girl to have the BEST clients. I got to bring my daughter to work with me this day... and I put her to work. She did such a great job with these girls... They are a beautiful family inside and out!

The Sipple Family | Family Photographer

It was so great working with this family. I love meeting new people and making each shoot as unique as possible. People often ask if it's hard to photograph such large groups/families. Although it can be a bit challenging... you just make it work. Blinking will always be a challenge. Posing would be another challenge... but I always try to get my traditional poses first... and then move on to something fun and real. Seeing them interact is always fun! Love this last minute shot of her! Getting someone in their Element is Beautiful!

El Centro. Brawley. Holtville. Here I come...

About twice a year I book sessions out in these areas. These session were booked early on before the Holidays which makes it nice for these clients to use for the Holidays. I find that I've met such great families and people out there. Especially growing families that i've worked with more than once. Everyone there has been so great to me and I hope I continue to work with them and see these families grow! Here are a few different families that i've gotten to work with :)
