Handsome Little Man | Newborn Photographer

This little man couldn't be more handsome. Little do people realize how time consuming a newborn session can be. I know when you look at these sweet, calm and precious little newborns, you must say the same thing I say when I edit them.... which is .... AWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW. Wait, I think I say that the day of the shoot as well... Well regardless what I ramble the day of the shoot... Working with Newborns is the Sweetest part of my Job. Yes it can be a long day, but why would you not be patient with something so precious? If I can give any tips for New Mommies interested in a Newborn Session, it would be.... Have fun with it, Don't stress, feed, feed again, and again...lol. Have enough room in a well lit room for blanket setup and leave the rest up to the photographers. When the day unfolds with your little one sleeping in blankets looking as priceless as can be... You will be so Thankful you did this... :)

Number 3... Oh and It's a Girl... again | Fullerton Photographer

It's Raining.. Wait... It's Raining!?!? Should we reschedule? Heck NO we shouldn't. Everyone was ready rain or shine. This Maternity Session was something I'd been looking forward to for a while. This family was having daughter number 3, and yes we all feel for Daddy... and we needed to get something different. Something that they probably don't have hanging in thier house already, and something Fresh. These photos scream all of that.

Sweet Vintage | La Habra Photographer

Locations are such a big part of my Photography. I understand that at times my clients like to pick their own photo shoot locations. Some with meaning to the family, some where they have built memories and even some from their own homes. My Photography is my Art. It's like an empty canvas that I get to paint. So when it came to this shoot, it was like I had pictured it before it happened... and I'm so happy with them all.

I would like to say "Thank you" to an Amazing Vintage Antique store Located in La Habra. This store is Full of Wonderful Antiques, Gifts, Vintage, Home Decor and Furniture and so much more. If you're like me, and have a secret crush on Vintage... shhhhhh. It's true. You need to visit Magnolia Antiques and Gift Store in La Habra. I knew the moment I walked into this store that this "Vision" I had was right in front of my eyes...

So you take an Amazing Location with an Amazing little Girl... and that equals an AMAZING Photo!!!!! She was such a trooper with all that was asked or even not asked... So much fun to work with, and these are great memories to have frozen in time...

{Layla}

I think I'm going to let these photos do most of the talking...all I can say is "I get to photograph the cutest babies EVER!" Little Layla did an awesome job from start to finish. These came out beautiful and simple and I'm so happy I got to capture some of her first photos...

Something Different | HB Photographer

The weather couldn't have been more beautiful today. The warm sunlight with a slight chill in the air equals a Great day in Huntington Beach, CA. Now I'm not gonna lie about being somewhat worried about how bright out it was. As any photographer can tell you, the bright bright light is never a fantastic thing, but what can you do? You work with it and use it the best you can. I know they wanted some taken on the Beach. I have this thing... this secret photography crush on Alleyways. I'll look for them, and if I know they're around, well my friend, you're gonna get some cool shots in the alley. It's nice to do something different for my clients. I know they probably have never had photos taken in an alleyway. So if I can make it fun and different... That's what I'm gonna do.

Today~

Today I was woken up by the lovely sound of my Blackberry. My "GONG" ringtone on my facebook app has gone MAD! I thought I was a contestant on "The Gong Show" until I picked up the phone (because I sleep with it)then adjusted my eyes to focus and saw How many of my Peeps wake up so dang Early!!! LOL. Gosh, leave it to the Power of Facebook to make it so easy to tell someone Happy Birthday. Just a Simple "Happy Birthday" or "Have a Great Day" really does start your Birthday out GREAT! I am so Blessed to have such an AMAZING FAMILY and Awesome People in my Life. My heart holds a special place for every single one of you... Whether I see you everyday, if I don't see you everyday, if we're related, if we're not related, if you have me on your facebook, or if you've even taken me off your facebook..(clear my throat)LOL... You still have been apart of me in one way or another... So I THANK YOU ALL SOOOOOO MUCH for such a Great start to what I know is going to be an AMAZING YEAR and the Years to Follow....... xoxoxox

More than Clients

I love that fact that my clients are my friends. They were either friends to begin with, or friends that I've made. People are able to be themselves around me, and feel comfortable in front of my camera. That's very important in a business like mine. I just create a moment, and let it unfold.
I'm always honored to photograph this family because I've seen their story and have documented it for them. It's not just a photograph, it's a STORY. A story that you're going to share one day with your children and grandchildren. I've always said, if there was ever a fire (knock on wood) and everyone got out safely... What's the one item i'd run in to save?... It would be my photos, my story...my families story. Photographs are irreplaceable. That's why I am so blessed to do what I do, and I take it way more serious than just taking a photo. I tell the story, and make friend along the way....

I Heart my Little Shadow | Valentines Day

I love the fact that this is All her. This was just her and her Shadow having a grand ol time. I had showed her a few days ago how to make animals, butterflies and funny talking shadows. Yes I know I'm easily amused. Anyway, she came up with one all on her own. Maybe she's just as easily amused?
