Lovin Her Cake | Cake Smash Session

Today was little Ava's first cake smash session. She sat there and stared at it for a good 2 Min's before reaching in and tasting it. From then on she couldn't get enough cake into her mouth fast enough. I honestly had to stop myself from photographing her because she was to cute and my camera loved her too.

i can't stress enough how important yet fun these cake sessions are, and what a fantastic age to document...

Cake smash for Charlie

Today was Charlies big day to smash a cake for his 1st birthday. If you've never seen a cake smash session it is the most adorable thing to witness... Unless... like Charlie, who wanted no part in smashing his birthday cake. he actually looked at me with the expression of "you're joking right?" Just goes to show that no cake smash session is the same.

Francisco & Michelle's Wedding Day

Francisco and Michelle were so great to work with. They had both waited for this day to come and such a blessing it all worked out for them. Their Wedding Day was absolutly Beautiful and their hard work definetly paid off.
I was asked to meet with Michelle to discuss her big day. We hit it off right away and it's so fun working with such great people. I can now call her a friend and I was so happy to document their Love and their Family Together...
Wedding details coming soon... I just really wanted to get these pics posted.

Must have a pic with the Beautiful Bride!

Summer Days

It is so great that time slows down in the summer. Beach balls, swimming gear, eating ice cream pool side and colorful flowers blooming in the garden (compliments of doctor green thumb Ancich).

Cousins

Today we spent the day with family. It doesn't happen often enough because of this crazy thing called life. Having all the cousins so close in age makes play time twice as much fun and i really wish it happened more often...

Memorial Day

I just wanted to give a big Thank You to our brave Men and Women that fight or have fought for our Freedom. The older my children get, the more they learn about the importance of this day, and the more questions I get to answer. I posted a photo of all that I live for. All that is of Importance to me. If we can always remember that our Freedom came with a price... and we owe this day to them...

As I sit here and Edit these images, I look back at that Amazing New Zealand Kiwi husband of mine....lol. I should really post photos of his happy face, but I know deep down he knows we live in an Amazing Country. Our kids are so blessed to have such cultural backgrounds and on Days like Memorial Day, Mommy gets to Answer all their little questions. We will leave other days like the Rugby World Cup for Daddy to answer...

EPIC Senior Photography | Class of 2011

I can't tell you how much I enjoy working with Seniors on their photo sessions. The Girls tend to enjoy it a bit more than the boys... not gonna lie.

I got to work with an Awesome Girl today who was wanting to get some really cool shots. Mom came along and was so so sweet! Working with Great Moms and Great Seniors makes the day of the shoot twice as fun.

Forever 21.... America's Next Top Model... TOMS... all these places have not only inspired me with my style photography, but also inspires my Senior clients... I love the fact that they are all Themselves and all Unique in so many ways. So many different Styles now and days... You're only a Senior Once, and my job is to capture who you are when your senior year arrives....

Making New Friends...

The respect I have for my clients goes above and beyond. Once we get to hang out for a good hour or hour and a half, you have now become my friends. So what I'm really trying to say is... I really hope you like me because this will go a lot smoother if you laugh at my jokes instead of hearing the sound of chirping crickets... Trust me it's not cool when I laugh at my own joke followed shortly after by chirping crickets... not cool. Anyway... back to this Beautiful Family Session. This was so much fun and such a Nice, Outgoing Family. I felt as though we all really laughed together...(well, I hope anyway)
